If you enjoy feeding and watching birds, you've hit the jackpot. We have cardinals, chickadees, hummingbirds, finches, and orioles on a regular basis at our feeders and fountains. We enjoy the owls calling to each other in the woods.

Abundant groups of deer frequent the property. We usually see groups of three or four, but have had as many as 13 in the back yard. In the spring, it's always a special treat to see the fawns romp and play around the yard.

Here we have a young buck that's crossing the driveway.

We sometimes have a red fox that likes to visit the property as well. He's just about to duck into a culvert in the middle of the driveway.

Turkeys often visit the property, too. Here we have a family taking a stroll through the yard. The photo may look a little fuzzy because I took it through the lower level bedroom that has a screen on the window.

Huge, beautiful ferns grow in the wild throughout the property. Here you see them as you are coming down the driveway.

I have planted Colorado Spruce and White Pines around the property for a variety of tree. They are beautiful all year long including the winter when snow hangs from their branches.

"The woods are lovely, dark, and deep, and I have miles to go before I sleep." Robert Frost. The thick forest is amazingly beautiful. it has been properly managed so windfalls and dead trees have been removed. There are some paths throughout the property and survey stakes mark all four corners.
